Application scope of A588GrK steel plate

A588GrK steel plate is commonly used in welded, riveted and bolted structures, but is primarily used in welded bridges and buildings where weight reduction or extended life is required. This steel has significantly better atmospheric corrosion resistance than copper-containing or copper-free carbon structural steels in most environmental conditions. This steel is suitable for many applications in the bare (uncoated) state when fully exposed to the atmosphere.
