America Standard Astm A588 Weathering steel Plate

ASTM A588 is an American standard for weathering steel plates used in construction, especially for outdoor structures. It covers high-strength, low-alloy structural steel shapes, plates, and bars with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance. The weathering steel plate is made from a low-carbon steel alloy that contains elements such as copper, chromium, nickel, and phosphorus which provide enhanced resistance to atmospheric corrosion.
